AFCAT 01/2025 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Flying Branch:
  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 60% marks in any discipline from a recognized university, OR
  • BE/B.Tech degree with minimum 60% marks
  • Candidates must have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level
• Ground Duty (Technical):
• Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics):
  • Degree in Engineering/Technology with minimum 60% marks in specific fields like Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, etc.
• Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical):
  • Degree in Engineering/Technology with minimum 60% marks in Mechanical, Aerospace, Applied Mechanics, etc.
• Ground Duty (Non-Technical):
• Administration & Logistics:
  • Any graduate degree with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university
• Accounts:
  • B.Com degree with minimum 60% marks
• Education:
  • MBA/MCA or MA/MSc degree in English/Physics/Mathematics/Chemistry with minimum 50% marks

Age Limit:

• Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years as of January 1, 2026
• Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical): 20 to 26 years as of January 1, 2026
