Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science from a recognized university.

Age Limit:

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 27 years
• Age Relaxation:

• OBC: +3 years
• PwBD (Unreserved): +10 years
• PwBD (SC/ST): +15 years
• PwBD (OBC): +13 years
• Ex-Servicemen: Military service period +3 years (up to a maximum age of 55 years)

DSSSB Librarian Recruitment Selection Process

1. Written Examination (Computer-Based Test):
   • The exam consists of two sections:
     • Section A: General Awareness, Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability, Hindi Language Comprehension, and English Language Comprehension.
     • Section B: Subject-specific questions related to Library Science.
   • Total Marks: 200
   • Duration:
     • General Candidates: 120 minutes
     • PwBD Candidates: 160 minutes
   • Negative Marking: Deduction of 0.25 marks per incorrect answer.
